2. Definitions
- Organizer: The individual or entity responsible for hosting the event and listing it on Bilit Events.
- Customer: The individual purchasing tickets through Bilit Events.
- Booking Fees: The administrative charges applied to each ticket purchase, in addition to the ticket price.
3. Exclusivity of Ticket Sales
- Exclusive Sales on Bilit Events:
Organizers must ensure that tickets for events listed on Bilit Events are sold exclusively through our platform unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Selling tickets for the same event on other platforms is strictly prohibited. - Breach of Exclusivity:
If Bilit Events identifies that an organizer is selling tickets for the same event on another platform:- The event listing on Bilit Events may be immediately suspended or removed.
- The organizer’s account will be subject to a review, and repeat offenses will result in a permanent ban from using Bilit Events.
- Monitoring:
The Bilit Events team reserves the right to monitor and verify ticket sales activities. Any breaches will be taken seriously and may result in legal action.
4. Ticket Purchase and Use
- All tickets purchased through Bilit Events are final and non-transferable unless explicitly allowed by the event organizer.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their contact details and ticket selection at the time of purchase.
- Tickets must be presented at the event in the specified format (e.g., e-ticket, QR code, or printed copy).
5. Booking Fees
- Non-Refundable Booking Fees:
Booking fees associated with ticket purchases are non-refundable under any circumstances, including event cancellation, postponement, or changes to event details. - These fees cover administrative and processing costs and are clearly displayed during the purchase process.
6. Refund and Cancellation Policy
- Event Cancellation or Postponement:
In the event of cancellation or rescheduling, customers may be entitled to a refund of the ticket price only, excluding booking fees. Refund requests must be submitted within the time frame specified by Bilit Events or the organizer. - No Refund for Personal Circumstances:
Refunds will not be provided for changes in personal circumstances, inability to attend, or dissatisfaction with the event. - Organizer’s Responsibility:
Organizers are solely responsible for issuing refunds when required. Bilit Events facilitates the process but does not bear financial liability for organizer-related issues.
7. Event Compliance
- Organizers must comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to their events.
- Any event found to be illegal, fraudulent, or in violation of our policies will be immediately removed, and the organizer’s account may be permanently banned.
8. Liability
- Customer Liability:
Customers are responsible for verifying event details and ensuring their availability to attend. - Organizer Liability:
Organizers are fully responsible for delivering the event as advertised and resolving disputes with customers. - Bilit Events Liability:
Bilit Events acts as a ticketing platform and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or fulfillment of events. We are not liable for losses, damages, or injuries incurred during an event.
9. Prohibited Activities
- Unauthorized resale or duplication of tickets is strictly prohibited.
- Organizers must not sell tickets for the same event on other platforms without prior approval from Bilit Events.
- Fraudulent activities, such as using stolen credit cards or creating fake events, will result in immediate suspension and legal action.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
- Bilit Events is committed to protecting your privacy. All personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Organizers must ensure that any customer data obtained through Bilit Events is handled securely and used solely for event-related purposes.
11. Termination and Suspension
- Bilit Events reserves the right to terminate or suspend accounts, event listings, or access to the platform at its sole discretion for violations of these terms or applicable laws.
- Organizers found violating the exclusivity clause will be subject to immediate suspension and potential legal action.
12. Changes to Terms
- Bilit Events may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the United Kingdom.
